Library and Learning Center Study Rooms

LBCC Library study room and conference room


The Library and Learning Center have several group study/conference rooms available for use by LBCC students, faculty, and staff. 

  • Room 141 in the Library seats 2-3
  • Room 142 in the Library seats 8-10.
  • Room 203 in the Learning Center seats up to 4 students.
  • Room 204 in the Learning Center seats up to 8 students.
  • Room 202 in the Learning Center is a designated "quiet room;" it is only available for drop-in use. 

Reserving WH-141 Small Study Room

Room 141 may be reserved on a same-day basis by signing up on the clipboard next to the door. WH-141 may only be reserved once per day, for a period up to 2 hours per student or per group. A student or a group who is more than 10 minutes late will forfeit their reservation. The room may be used by a student or a group on a first-come/first served basis if there are no reservations – only up to 2 hours a day per student or per group. On occasion, a single student using a room may be asked by staff to move so that a group might use the room. Food and drink are allowed in the study room. We ask that users clean up the room when they are done.

Reserving WH-142 Large Conference Room

Faculty and staff may reserve this room any time in advance by calling the Library service desk (for WH 142). A student or a group may reserve this room for a period up to up to 2 hours as many as 7 days in advance by calling Reference (x4645). The room may only be reserved ONCE PER DAY per student or per group. Users should make arrangements for any desired equipment at the time of reservation. A student or a group who is more than 10 minutes late will forfeit their reservation. Reservations for this room will be posted on a daily basis. WH-142 may be used on a first-come/first served basis if there are no reservations– only up to 2 hours a day per student or per group. Since this is a conference-sized room, Library and Learning Center use of this room takes priority over any reservations. Also, on occasion, a single student using a room may be asked by staff to move so that a group might use the room. This will be done as far in advance as possible of the reserved time slot. Food and drink are allowed in the study rooms - we ask that users clean up the room when they are done.
